In the early 20th century, several dozen Japanese immigrants made their way to Florida in search of economic opportunity.  And while some of them became quite prosperous, as we explain in this episode of Florida Crossroads, in many ways, it was the State of Florida that had much to gain from the settlers’ contributions.
