01/28/2013 Florida Crossroads – Florida Remembers – The Space Shuttle Program

For 30 years the space shuttle lit up the skies of Florida.  The Shuttle Program overcame tragedy to give us a new understanding of the universe.  The Shuttle has left a continuing legacy in space with the deployment of the Hubble Space Telescope and construction of the International Space Station.  Producer Mike Licquia also shows how NASA continuously solved unique problems on the world’s most complex machine.
