Capitol Update – Week Ending 04/15/2016

  • The Governor takes final action on bills approved by the Legislature this year, signing the last batch of bills and vetoing a bill that would have changed alimony and child time-sharing laws.
  • A review of other bills signed by the Governor, including a tax cut package and an education omnibus bill.
  • The Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission meets in Jupiter, taking action on Gulf red snapper, lionfish and other issues, and getting public comment on the possibility of another bear hunt this year.
