Capitol Update Extended – National Statuary Hall

Federal Law Permits each state to furnish the U.S. Capitol with two statues of deceased people of prominence. One of Florida’s statues is of General Edmund Kirby Smith, which was placed there in 1992. Representative Jose Diaz wants General Smith replaced.
