12/22/2014 Florida Crossroads – The Birth of a University: Florida Polytechnic

In August of 2014, students came from all corners of Florida to a rural part of Polk County at the launch of Florida Polytechnic University.  Although unaccredited, the university promised students an education that would lead to a high demand job in science, engineering, technology or math.  It is all inside a building with a flexible roof that looks like a space ship.
