Overdose deaths in Florida have increased 22% in one year according to a report from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
A Senate panel agreed Wednesday to put a statue of educator and civil rights icon Mary Mcleod Bethune in the US Capitol replacing a statue of Confederate General Edmund Kirby Smith.
