09/02/2010 Florida Crossroads – Tribute to Dr. William P. Foster

What is known today as the Florida A & M University Marching 100 started out as a 45-piece band in 1946 under the direction of Dr. William P. Foster. On August 28, 2010, the FAMU family mourned the loss of Dr. Foster. This tribute includes the 2007 Florida Crossroads program “The Making of a Band” produced by Theresa Marsenburg and the 1996 Florida Crossroads program “The Marching 100” produced by Jermaine Ferguson.
